Bring the finish back
Sun, salt and ordinary wear take the gloss and colour out of a boat. Sometimes that’s light dullness. Sometimes it’s damage or wear that needs a proper repair. We’ll look at what you have and tell you which it is.
What we do
Paint repairs and refinishing. Repair and refinishing of painted surfaces, from localised damage and wear to larger areas that need restoring. We aim for a durable, high-quality finish that blends with the existing paintwork.
Varnish refinishing. For tired, weathered or damaged brightwork. We prepare the timber, then apply suitable finishes to bring back its warmth and character with a smooth, durable result.
Machine polishing and waxing. For faded or weathered gelcoat and painted surfaces. Machine polishing removes light oxidation, surface imperfections and dullness, and helps protect the finish.
Insurance refinishing. Following accidental or insured damage, we refinish the affected areas to a high standard, working to the requirements of the claim where applicable.
Polish, repair or repaint?
Polishing suits light oxidation and dullness. Localised damage and heavier wear need a paint repair, and larger areas may need restoring. If you’re not sure which your boat needs, send us some photographs and we’ll talk it through.
