Do you handle insurance-approved boat repairs?
Yes. We regularly carry out structural and cosmetic repairs following collisions, groundings, or accidental damage. We can assess the damage, provide detailed estimates, and work in accordance with marine insurance requirements to restore your vessel to pre-incident condition.
What structural GRP and composite repairs do you undertake?
We repair everything from localized cosmetic cracks, deep gouges, and gelcoat stress crazing to major structural hull breaches and damaged carbon fibre components. Drawing on our boat-building background, we restore original structural integrity, core strength, and colour-matched gelcoat finishes.
What types of vessels and refit projects do you take on?
We coordinate refits across an exceptionally wide range of craft—including sailing yachts, motor cruisers, racing yachts, RIBs, catamarans, superyacht tenders, and commercial vessels. Projects range from minor cabin and deck alterations to comprehensive vessel renovations.
Can you manufacture custom or discontinued composite parts?
Yes. Where off-the-shelf components are unavailable, we utilize advanced composite manufacturing techniques to fabricate one-off replacement parts, bespoke hatch surrounds, custom mouldings, and specialised modifications in high-grade GRP or carbon fibre.
What antifouling and underwater maintenance options do you offer?
We supply and apply conventional antifouling systems tailored to your vessel’s operating pattern, as well as multi-season Coppercoat epoxy treatments. Our underwater services also include hull preparation, blast/strip work, and running gear and propeller cleaning.
How do you treat weathered gelcoat, paintwork, and brightwork?
We restore faded, oxidised gelcoat and painted hulls using multi-stage machine compounding and protective waxes. For timber finishes, we strip back weathered brightwork and apply professional marine varnish coatings to protect and enhance exterior woodwork.
